I really like the time when spring turns into summer and everything becomes so green. The grass, the trees, the shrubs, everything. And then there is that magical light that returns after a long winter and stays with us all through the night.
I also love a crisp winter day, with white snow covering the ground and a bright blue sky above. The sound of snow crunching beneath your boots and the cold air biting your cheeks.
But what I really, really love is when autumn arrives and nature bursts into every imaginable shade of red, brown, gold and yellow. Every year, I find myself amazed by just how beautiful nature is during this season. Swans standing quietly in a misty meadow, the fog lingering in the distance or cows grazing peacefully in the warm glow of a sunset.
Every year, I try to capture this beauty with my camera, though I rarely succeed in capturing this feeling. I really want to use it as inspiration to transform it into acrylic paintings that preserve the atmosphere, emotion, and magic of the landscapes that inspire me so much.
